Erratic behavior leads to unemployment

“An in-the-know Curbed reader dropped us a note over the weekend informing us of some personnel changes (see: firings) over at Nest Seekers International. According to our tipster, Barbara Feldman was shown the door due to “to erratic behavior and yelling at aa’s and other agents.” This bigger news, though, is that Joseph DeCristofaro—poached from Corcoran back in May of this year—was given the boot as well. He had been relieved of his newfound managerial duties weeks ago “but refused to accept [it] and kept acting as if he was still manager and kept telling everyone he was an owner/partner.” As of this writing, both Ms. Feldman and Mr. DeCristofaro have been removed from the Nest Seekers website. We’ve reached out to the company’s media contact to see if they’d like to comment. In the meantime, if anyone has any inside info they’d like to share, feel free to send us an Email or comment below.

That was fast: According to a Curbed reader, Ms. Feldman has already landed at the Sag Harbor office of Douglas Elliman.”

Noteworthy Comments on “Erratic Behavior …”

“Wonder how long this will be up before that Feldman wackadoo threatens a lawsuit? Can you say ‘insane in the membrane!”

~ Anonymous “Hamptons Curbed” Guest (#2)

“I would bet my eye teeth that every single one of these comments is from wackadoo Feldman… what a kook!!!”

~ Anonymous “Hamptons Curbed” Guest (#10)

“… And whoever is calling me names is a stupid ass and a gutless wonder that either has an axe to gride or nothing better to do than stir up more trouble. pathetic.”

~ Barbara Feldman (#16)

“Barbara Feldman is an instigator and a trouble maker and has been fired from every real estate company she has worked for. Eddie Shapiro must be a saint to put up with her for as long as he has.”

~ Anonymous “Hamptons Curbed” Guest (#20)

“I was not surprised when I read that Barbara Feldman was fired for “erratic behavior and yelling”. I heard that when she worked for Prudential, she was told by the manager to NOT come into the office but to work from home. She has worked for every real estate company out there, jumping from one to the next. Why anyone would hire her, is beyond me, considering the Hamptons are a small town and everyone knows of her “personality”. Someone said it up at the top – a wackadoodle – and someone who threatens people continuously (as I have experienced personally). She loves suing people. No real estate agency in their right mind should recruit her.”

~ Anonymous “Hamptons Curbed” Guest (#30)

“… I think we all know who 32 is – foul language and all – hello BF!!! Nice to see you are monitoring site. It would behoove you to refrain from further comments as it just exacerbating situation.”

    James,

Your website on Barbara Feldman is both hilarious and accurate. Thank you
for putting it up. I have had the unfortunate displeasure of trying to do
business with this woman. Needless to say (no surprise to you, I’m sure),
    it’s turned into a nightmare!

I just had to send a quick note of thanks for confirming what I already new.
Please don’t ever take it down.

    Best Regards,

    K-

A lawyer for NYC called for you named Joe Demarco 212-922-9498. He has a client that is being harassed by Barbara Feldman and that he would like to speak with you off the record. I told him I would have you call him tomorrow.

I worked for the E-mail marketing company Barbara Feldmen used from 2008-2012 before our company went out of business. Barbara was a LEGEND at our company. She threatened to sue me and the company i worked for because we didn’t support dragging and dropping images from her desktop into our HTML email builder (they needed to be uploaded into our site first so we could legitimately house them). She would call in and hang up on every customer support person until she got who she wanted to talk to (typically me). She was so famous I went as her for Halloween one year to a company. It was a huge hit! I just searched her to see if she was still terrorizing people and this site is CRACKING ME UP! Thanks!
